Art at TECC

Self expression comes in many forms.

The TECC Art Program is designed to branch out from the traditional preschool “crafts” and provide the children an opportunity to freely express themselves using different media. Art is specifically taught by the homeroom teacher so the curriculum can be tied into specific classroom themes where appropriate to enhance their understanding.

Every year the children at all age levels are exposed to the seven elements of design (line, shape, color, value, texture, perspective, and form).

The children are also introduced the style and artwork of different artist throughout history.
