Bible Camp

Session IV

Odd Year: Super Heroes of the Bible

What makes someone a super hero? Is it a cape, x-ray vision, or a fast car that transforms at the drop of a hat? Clearly those items are flashy and exciting, but there is so much more that goes into the creation of a super hero.

BibleSuperHero

During Super Heroes of the Bible Camp, your children will be engrossed in the lives of at least three biblical super heroes which include Noah, Esther and Daniel. Through their stories your children will learn about the characteristics that God finds the most valuable in a hero including courage, discipline, love, and the determination to do the right thing.

Lessons and classroom activities are all designed to develop individual spirituality as well as enhance the spirit of the entire class as a team. Every child’s artistic creativity in addition to their gross motor skills will all be called upon during this camp to aid in their expression and understanding of the core concepts being taught.

Through Bible Camp, we will discover the super hero inside each of us and that each person’s effort to live a life of love for God and one another are what matter most.

Even Year: Keepers of the Earth

Monday, August 9th through Friday, August 20th

With the story of creation as their guide, Keepers of the Earth will give your child a better understanding of God’s everlasting gifts while teaching them how they can help preserve them.

As they focus on each day of creation individually, the children will learn more about methods of telling time, the importance of our land and water supplies, and how to care for all God’s creatures including themselves. Each day’s lessons and classroom activities are designed to foster an appreciation of planet earth, while encouraging nurturing and compassion towards each other.

Just as God rested on the seventh day, so shall we. Keepers of the Earth will spend its final day with your child learning to relax with yoga while wearing their favorite pajamas, and reflecting on how they can thank God for their favorite part of creation.
